London Trip @ 22-29 January 2009 (Day 2-Part 7) Buckingham Palace

After we visited the Westminister Abbey and its surroundings, we took a cab to Buckingham Palace. That was not the first time I saw a palace because I have seen a few becoming visiting London.

Buckingham Palace is where place where the British Royalty stays. If you want to know about Buckingham Palace you may read from here.

Here I come ...... Summer Musical School

YAY! Today is the first day of my summer musical school.

I woke up very early today - too excited. Can't seem to sleep well actually :) Class will start at 10am and finishes at 5pm for everyday for the next 3 weeks! I am so so excited.

The cordinator emailed Mum yesterday and told all of us that we should get our script today (if I have one) and so by end of today I should know whether I have a line during the performance or not.

The School also requested us (in the Makeover Artist Group) to prepare three different attires (costumes) for the 6 performances that we going to perform on 7, 8 and 9 August respectively. Mum is trying to get all the attires ready so that I can bring them to School on 24/7 for the Costume Designer to view and if ok, I will wear them during performances :)

Oh yes, another BIG NEWS! I passed my ABRSM Flute Exam - I have cleared Grade 2 and will sit for Grade 3 next year. I am so so happy :) OK .. next exam will be Grade 2 Theory Exam which will be taken in October this year! Wish me good luck !!!

I have my ears pierced!!!!

Meaningful event for me to record down. I always wanted my ears to be pierced so that I can wear nice earrings :) but the piercing part is the scariest!!

After delaying for so many months, today I have decided that I should do it! We went to Isabelle @ Langham Place to do it.

Reached there about 1pm - Mum discussed with the sales assistant which earring is suitable for me. The lady told me that since I have THICK ear lobe there are only a few choices to choose. Can anyone tell me what thick ear lobe means? Mum said that it is stubborn. She thinks that people with thick ear lobe are stubborn!! Hahahha .. do you think so?

I have chosen a 14K white gold earring - I do like it very much! :)
