5th Annual Gymnastics Tournament

My gymnastic teacher told all of us that there will be a tournament for us next month. All of us can participate if we are interested.

The tournament will be held on 22 March 2009 at one of the school in Hong Kong and it is from 11am to 1.30pm.

Teacher has advised me to take part in three competition. They are (1) floor routine (2) Balance beam and (3) Vault but I told Mum, I am only confident in floor routine and vault only since I am not that good in balancing ! Mum said that it is up to me what routines I want to join!

I have already signed up for the competition. I have to pay HK150 for 2 routines :) And guess what ... my grand parents will be here when the competition takes place! I want them to see me doing the routine :) Hahaha :)

I am so happy !

The Mikado - RCHK Musical Play

YES! Another musical play! But it will be performed by Year 6 students of my school. I can't wait to see their performances. I will be watching the show scheduled to be held on 26 February 2009!

Let you give you a brief description of what the story is about .. :) The story is set in Japan and it is about the fortunes of Nanki Poo, the son of the Mikado. Nanki Poo runs away fromt eh palace to avoid an arranged marriage to an aging Katisha but he falls in love with Yum Yum, the ward of Ko Ko, the Lord High Executioner of Titi Poo. Yum Yum on the other hand is engaged to be married to Ko Ko.

I am so excited to know what is the outcome of the story!

Disney On Ice - Princess Wishes

I will be going to Arena Asiaworld tomorrow to watch a skating event organised by Disney On Ice. It is called Princess Wishes. I can't wait to see it!

School's Sports Day

Today will be my School's Sports Day. It is only for Primary School. The Secondary School already had their Sports Day a few days ago.

I am so excited because I will be taking part in a few events! Wish me good luck ok? Byeee

Din Tai Fung Dumpling Restaurant, HK

Din Tai Fung Dumpling Restaurant is from Taiwan specialised in juicy pork dumplings (xiao long bao). Dad has been to their outlets in Taiwan and guess what, since there is one outlet in HK, Dad brought Mum and me to try out their xiao long bao!

Yaumatei Tin Hau Temple, HK

Dad brought me to Yaumatei area to have tea. We went to a old cafe called Mido Cafe to have some snacks.

While we are walking around the area, I noticed that there is a temple nearby. The temple is a very old temple ie Tin Hau Temple.

Dad mentioned that Tin Hau is the Goddess of the sea and protector of fisherman and sailors. She is considered as one of the city’s most popular deities.

I am back :)

I am back from the long CNY holidays but unable to post any photos yet. Reason is that I have too many things to do. Things like :-

1. lots of school homework especially Chinese language;
2. need to practise my flute - there will be a mini performance on Sunday (8/2). Need to memorise two long scores. I am quite nervous since it is my first flute performance and my teacher told me that there will be a few "judges" and many audience. Hehehe .. hopefully I will make it. Like I told Mum earlier - I have to do well otherwise .. very shy.

On the way back to HK. Took Euro Star from Paris to London then took a flight back to HK. A long long journey but overall, I really love going to Paris/London and I hope to go back to London/Paris again :)
