2008 Japan Trip - Day 1 (Part 3) Ginza, Tokyo Japan

Continue from here.

After putting the luggages in the hotel room, we went downtown to look have a look. The first place we went to is Ginza. Ginza is Tokyo's most famous upmarket shopping, dining and entertainment district, featuring numerous department stores, boutiques, art galleries, restaurants, night clubs and cafes.

We reached Ginza about 7pm but by 9pm most of the departmental stores were already closed. And did you know something, when it was 9pm there was actually a bell ring that indicates time to close shop .. hehehe .. so cute!

Let's have a look at the photos that taken .. ie the surroundings in Ginza and not food, food will be posted on another blog :)

Now let's us proceed to what we had for dinner ie the first meal in Tokyo. .. to be continued!

wow, shopping at Ginza! the Japanese sure do have cute ways to say goodbye, don't they? even in KL, the Japanese-managed stores like Isetan have all their staff lining up to say goodbye to you when they close their store!
